2nd Day in Sydney

Woke up today to a beautiful sunny day! 87 degrees!  We had breakfast and then walked down to "Darling Harbor".  We had  'Hop on - Hop off' Harbor Cruise tickets.  It allowed us to visit 5 different stops.  The boat ride was beautiful.  We spent most of the day at a town called 'Manly'.  It had beautiful beaches and fun shops!  We ended the day eating Gelato. After 8 hours of exploring the jet lag kicked in, especially with me, and I was sooooo tired.

1st day in Sydney!

We arrived safely in Sydney Australia today at 9:30am. Our good friend, Tami Barrans was our flight attendant on our flight from Seattle to San Francisco!  How cool is that!  We are 19 hours ahead of you all!
This is a picture was taken out the window of our hotel. We are staying at a place called Hyde Park Inn. We rested a little and then we took a 6 mile walk around the city and went to the Sydney Opera House. We discovered they call their pharmacists;Chemists and that they call Katsup;tomato sauce and elevators;lifts!
They really use a 'Gday Mate' here and 'no worries' a lot!

Well...today's the day! The start of our journey. Our  flight from Seattle to San Francisco went well, except for the fact that the flight was delayed one hour.  We still made it in time for our connection, and as I'm writing this we are sitting waiting for our flight out.
Next time you hear from us, we will be saying..."Gday mate!"
