Nelson, New Zealand - Feb. 10, 2016

Woke up today early to go Kayaking in Able Tasman National Park. This is the first day we got a little lost.  We were a half hour late for our tour.  The "round abouts" here got the best of us!  They held our tour, thankfully and we got all geared up to board our double kayak.  We had a guide that was wonderful.  It was a small group, which was nice.  One couple was from England, another from Ireland, & one from Germany.  The guide was from Nelson, N.Z.  The tour was three hours and it was just beautiful!  We ended at a pretty beach, where we swam and had lunch.  A water taxi took us back to the Tour company.  So much fun!  We were "Gobsmacked" by the beauty!  We drove back to "Harris Hill Cottages" and had a nice dinner and fed the animals there. Off to the North Island tomorrow morning!   Check out the video at the bottom of this page to watch Larry feeding the animals.  Pretty funny!

We went into a couple of caves!

Lunch at the beach

Water was awesome!

We took the Aqua Taxi back and the tractor pulled us out.
Too funny!
Back home for the night to feed the animals!

They had a big shed filled with bread we could feed the animals.

Place we kayaked at!
